I created this watercolor painting inspired by the remarkable creation of Allah (SWT), the honey bee, as mentioned in the Qur’an.
The artwork features the text:
وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحْلِ
“And your Lord inspired the bees”
The full verse reads:
“Your Lord inspired the bee, saying: ‘Set up hives in the mountains and in the trees and in the trellises that people put up. Then suck the juice of every kind of fruit and keep treading the ways of your Lord which have been made easy.’ There comes forth from their bellies a drink varied in colors, wherein there is healing for men. Verily there is a sign in this for those who reflect.” (Surah An-Nahl 16:68-69)
This piece is a reflection on the intricate wisdom, diligence, and beauty of Allah’s creation, serving as a reminder of His signs for those who contemplate.
