Description
A watercolor painting created in honor of Imam Reza (as). His shrine is a sanctuary where all worries vanish, and your heart is filled with peace and clarity, alhamdulillah. Painting this shrine and now gazing upon it in my home brings back those serene and comforting feelings.
(Arabic text reads: Allah humma salli ala Ali ibn Musa Ridha Al Murtadha)
Ahmad Bazanti arrived to Imam Reza (as) and said, “Two years ago, I asked God for a need, but my need has not yet been fulfilled, I think God does not want to answer me!" Imam Reza (as) replied, "Ahmad! Be careful that the devil doesn't make you feel completely hopeless!"
The Imam continued, "Imam Baqir (as) used to say: when a believer asks God for something, God may delay in responding to their prayer; for Allah loves to hear the imploration of His servant”.
Then the Imam (as) turned to Ahmad and said, "Tell me, if I promised you something, do you trust me?” Ahmad replied, "May I be ransom of you!" If I don't trust your words, who can I trust?! You are God's authority among people!"
Imam (as) replied, "So put your trust in God more than in me, because He Himself has promised you:
“Call Me, I will answer you!"
