A Dreaming Heart - قلبٌ يَحلُم
Painted from a personal photo taken in Bainul Haramian during a ziyarat on the 15th of Sha’ban, this piece captures not just a place, but a moment of longing and peace. The warm, dreamlike colors reflect the emotional aftermath of ziyarat, a heart full of love, memories, and the ache of returning. A landscape not just seen, but deeply felt.

A Pledge in Karbala - يا حُسَيْن
A hand clutches the zarih of Imam Husain (ع), not in silence, but in allegiance. The gold latticework of his grave glows with reverence, and yet the weight of his words still echoes: "Those who are silent when others are oppressed are guilty of oppression themselves." — Imam Husain (ع)

Ya Rab | A Heart That Calls
At the center of this piece lies the human heart anatomically rendered, yet spiritually elevated and surrounded by the repeated invocation: "يا رب" (O Lord). The vibrant veins and arteries echo the rhythm of dhikr as if the body itself is engaged in continuous prayer. This artwork reflects the profound truth that calling upon Allah is not only with the tongue, but flows through the soul, the body, and the very bloodstream. It is a visual dhikr: bold, raw, and intimate. A heart in color, a heart in need, a heart that calls: Ya Rab

Labbayk - لَبَّيْكَ
"يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِـِٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ"“They intend to extinguish the Light of Allah with their words. But Allah will perfect His Light, even though the disbelievers dislike it.”

She Who Fears None but Him
This artwork portrays the quiet defiance of a woman who stands before the machinery of oppression, unarmed, yet unshaken. Her strength is not her own but drawn from absolute tawakkul. "وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ"“And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him.” — Surah At-Talaq [65:3] Her figure, lit by divine rays, echoes the path of Lady Zainab (س), who stood tall in Yazid’s court undaunted, and unwavering. This piece is a tribute to all those who walk her path: women of faith who fear none but Him and find their strength in submission to Allah alone.

Rahmah lil-‘Alameen | Mercy to the Nations
"وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ"“And We did not send you, [O Muhammad], but as a mercy to the worlds.” — Surah Al-Anbiya [21:107] This piece was originally painted in watercolor as a tribute to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), whose presence was and remains a mercy for all creation. It is a quiet visual dhikr, a reminder of divine mercy manifest through the most beloved of all creation.

Ya Zahra (س) The Model of Light and Resistance - قُدوَةُ النُّورِ والمُقاوَمة
This piece was originally painted in watercolor and later brought to life digitally with a quote that echoes the spirit of resistance and divine justice. The words of Ayatullah Shaykh Lutfullah Safi Gulpaygani remind us that Fatimiyyah is not just a moment—it is a movement. It is Ashura, it is Laylat al-Qadr, it is Ghadeer, it is the 15th of Shaʿban. It is the promise of truth triumphing over falsehood, and the light of Sayyida Fatima Zahra (س) illuminating every path of struggle until the return of Imam al-Mahdi (عج).

Peace Be Upon The Heads Raised Upon Lances - اَلسَّلامُ عَلَى الرُّؤُوسِ الْمُشَالَاتِ
"اَلسَّلامُ عَلَى الرُّؤُوسِ الْمُشَالَاتِ"Peace be upon the heads raised upon lances — Ziyarat al-Nahiyya al-Muqaddasa This piece is a tribute to the unshakable truth of Karbala—a moment where even severed heads bore witness. It draws from the narration that Imam al-Husayn’s (ع) blessed head, while raised upon a lance, recited Surah al-Kahf. Upon reaching the verse:"أَمْ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْكَهْفِ وَالرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا مِنْ آيَاتِنَا عَجَبًا"“Do you think the People of the Cave and the inscription were among Our wondrous signs?” [18:9] the head answered: “More wondrous than the People of the Cave is my martyrdom and what followed.”

Poppies of Palestine "Nay they are alive"
Poppies of Palestine, like the shuhada, they do not die. Rather, they are alive-nourished by our Lord, blooming in our hearts, and in the seeds of resiliance they have sown. The martyr’s rule begins the moment his blood is spilled.“And do not say of those who are slain in Allah’s way: ‘They are dead.’ Nay (they are) alive, but you perceive (it) not.” [2:154]

I Saw Nothing But Beauty - ما رأيتُ إلا جميلاً
Dedicated to Sayyida Zainab (س), the noble granddaughter of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), this piece was my first project in printmaking, created in 2020 using the relief printmaking technique. Inspired by her strength after witnessing the tragedies of Karbala, the work centers on her profound words spoken in the court of Yazid when asked what she saw:"ما رأيتُ إلا جميلاً"“I saw nothing but beauty.” Through this limited edition artwork, I aimed to capture not only her unwavering faith but the dignity with which she carried the burden of grief, turning tragedy into testimony. The original LE relief printmaking prints are sold out; these are duplicate prints of the original art. السلام على زينب الكبرى، بنت أمير المؤمنين، وأخت الحسين، وشريكة كربلاء
