Painted from a personal photo taken in Bainul Haramian during a ziyarat on the 15th of Sha’ban, this piece captures not just a place, but a moment of longing and peace. The warm, dreamlike colors reflect the emotional aftermath of ziyarat, a heart full of love, memories, and the ache of returning. A landscape not just seen, but deeply felt.

I painted this piece during my high school art class, spending nearly 65 hours bringing it to life. The prompt was “expressionism”. I had to paint something that expressed a personal emotional experience of mine. I chose this image because of my attachment to Imam Hussain (as). Although I faintly remember the last time I touched this dhari, my heart yearned to be in its presence again. This painting was made in anticipation for experiencing this exact moment. Every stroke I made, I was closer upon my trip to my Imam(as). Upon going for ziyarat- I realized that Karbala is a land where all my worries vanish, a land where I only see myself and my master, a land where I can cry my heart out, a land where I am reminded of my true purpose in this dunya, a land that I am utterly incomplete without. I created this watercolor painting inspired by the remarkable creation of Allah (SWT), the honey bee, as mentioned in the Qur’an. The artwork features the text:وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحْلِ“And your Lord inspired the bees” The full verse reads:“Your Lord inspired the bee, saying: ‘Set up hives in the mountains and in the trees and in the trellises that people put up. Then suck the juice of every kind of fruit and keep treading the ways of your Lord which have been made easy.’ There comes forth from their bellies a drink varied in colors, wherein there is healing for men. Verily there is a sign in this for those who reflect.” (Surah An-Nahl 16:68-69) This piece is a reflection on the intricate wisdom, diligence, and beauty of Allah’s creation, serving as a reminder of His signs for those who contemplate. Dedicated to Sayyida Zainab (س), the noble granddaughter of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), this piece was my first project in printmaking, created in 2020 using the relief printmaking technique. Inspired by her strength after witnessing the tragedies of Karbala, the work centers on her profound words spoken in the court of Yazid when asked what she saw:"ما رأيتُ إلا جميلاً"“I saw nothing but beauty.” Through this limited edition artwork, I aimed to capture not only her unwavering faith but the dignity with which she carried the burden of grief, turning tragedy into testimony. The original LE relief printmaking prints are sold out; these are duplicate prints of the original art. السلام على زينب الكبرى، بنت أمير المؤمنين، وأخت الحسين، وشريكة كربلاء

This artwork is inspired by the walls of the shrine in Kadhimiya. While sitting in the musallah preparing for prayer, I was struck by the Arabic calligraphy and artwork on the walls—lines we recite every day that carry profound meaning and beauty. I felt compelled to recreate them, so they could serve as a personal reminder in my own prayer space. The pieces feature the following phrases: سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ“Allah hears those who praise Him” سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ“Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great, and praise is to Him” This artwork is presented as a set of two pieces, though each can also be framed and displayed separately. A watercolor painting created in honor of Imam Reza (as). His shrine is a sanctuary where all worries vanish, and your heart is filled with peace and clarity, alhamdulillah. Painting this shrine and now gazing upon it in my home brings back those serene and comforting feelings. (Arabic text reads: Allah humma salli ala Ali ibn Musa Ridha Al Murtadha) Ahmad Bazanti arrived to Imam Reza (as) and said, “Two years ago, I asked God for a need, but my need has not yet been fulfilled, I think God does not want to answer me!" Imam Reza (as) replied, "Ahmad! Be careful that the devil doesn't make you feel completely hopeless!" The Imam continued, "Imam Baqir (as) used to say: when a believer asks God for something, God may delay in responding to their prayer; for Allah loves to hear the imploration of His servant”. Then the Imam (as) turned to Ahmad and said, "Tell me, if I promised you something, do you trust me?” Ahmad replied, "May I be ransom of you!" If I don't trust your words, who can I trust?! You are God's authority among people!" Imam (as) replied, "So put your trust in God more than in me, because He Himself has promised you:“Call Me, I will answer you!" "اَلسَّلامُ عَلَى الرُّؤُوسِ الْمُشَالَاتِ"Peace be upon the heads raised upon lances — Ziyarat al-Nahiyya al-Muqaddasa This piece is a tribute to the unshakable truth of Karbala—a moment where even severed heads bore witness. It draws from the narration that Imam al-Husayn’s (ع) blessed head, while raised upon a lance, recited Surah al-Kahf. Upon reaching the verse:"أَمْ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْكَهْفِ وَالرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا مِنْ آيَاتِنَا عَجَبًا"“Do you think the People of the Cave and the inscription were among Our wondrous signs?” [18:9] the head answered: “More wondrous than the People of the Cave is my martyrdom and what followed.”
